Project description
The STRATOSENS project aims to advance knowledge toward a new generation of critical technologies to be integrated into high-altitude platform station (HAPS) payloads. This will enable an exponential future growth in the scientific and commercial exploitation of the stratosphere by significantly expanding the response capability, operation, and performance of these systems.
This project has been subsidized by CDTI, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, with file number PTEG-20241004 through the call for the year 2024 of the procedure for granting aid for the “Space Technology Program” (Programa Tecnológico Espacial), established by Order CNU/462/2024, within the framework of the “Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia” (financed by Next Generation EU funds, including the “Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia”) and the Aerospace PERTE (Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation).
