Project description

The ECO-AERO project aims to create an open innovation structure for collaboration among various Technology actors in the aerospace sector, including companies, technology centers and universities. It aligns with Spain's National Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan and the PERTE Aerospace (specifically action 18 Aerospace innovation ecosystem). The project is structured around a series of deliverables that encompass various partner-driven initiatives including conferences and events (at regional, national, and international level), initiatives for the development of the supply chain and further dissemination activities (e.g., workshops, hackathons, webinars) aimed at collaboration, promotion, and capacity strengthening within the ecosystem. The main goal is to strengthen the aerospace sector's capabilities, strategically invest in priority Technology areas and increase public support for business innovation, especially for SMEs.

Project funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation through the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), within the framework of the “Innovation Ecosystems” program, under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (MRR) of the European Union with File Identification No.: EXP – 00166454 / ECO-20241002.
